Training & Development of
Colts and Problem Horses

Thunderbrook Tennessee Walkers provides several equine services.

- Colt Starting
- Working and Fixing Problem Horses
- Groundwork, Trailering, Tying, etc. for all ages
- Ranch Work
- Roping (brandings and out in the pasture)
- Preparing Your Horse for Trail Riding
- Need a horse that just needs miles, well we have the miles for your horse

All the horses we start and work with are trained using natural horsemanship techniques. While your horse is with us they will experience life on our 20,000 acre cattle ranch. They will do everything from trailing cattle to sorting cattle to roping to just trail riding.

We take in all breeds of horses.

Prices:

Board: $5/Day
approx $150 a month

Training: $15/Day

For colts being started under saddle we prefer we have your horse for 45 days and in that time they will receive the necessary ground work needed before riding and 30 rides. The horse will be worked with 5-6 days a week.

For all other horses we work with we would prefer they stay with us for at least 30 days. The horse will be work 5-6 days a week, depending on the horse and his/her needs.

I have bred, raised, and loved horses most of my life and very recently I had a filly that had been raised on a bottle after her mother died during birth....she hadn't had the experience of learning how to be a horse from her mom so thought she was a person and was quite spoiled...I was worried about getting the right person to train her as I felt she was smart as a whip but her training would be challenging...I decided to chose Krista Donsbach for the training after selling her a few horses and liking how she handled them...I couldn't be more pleased with the result...After a few months, my filly returned home not only trained but completely "finished" as a horse...She is amazing in all the things Krista taught her...I had warned Krista it would be a challenge but she rose to the occasion and we have the most awesome mare now that we have ever owned...I have never been more impressed with a trainer as I am with this young lady and highly recommend her to anyone needing training for their horses...
